Ricky Shamwow
A Las Vegas Impressionist

First Show Appearance: To Mock a Killing Bird
Played by: Douglas O'Neil, Jr.

Ricky Shamwow began life as the son of a poor, anachronistic brush salesman in western Kansas. From the time he was old enough to speak, he began parroting most of what he heard around the house and on television to his mother, who, being completely tone deaf, believed him to have the gift of impersonation. Seeing a way out of poverty, she began showing Ricky off at county fairs where visitors would pay a nickel apiece to laugh at the inept boy whose art was mistaken for a sideshow. Following his parents' death in a tragic brush accident, Ricky moved out to Vegas to seek his fortune - a quest that continues to this day.
