Chris Burch
Premiere Level Improvisor

Chris began his career early in life when he discovered that singing "Bohemian Rhapsody" while standing in a vat of sauerkraut was funny. He was immediately signed as an opening act for the Von Trapp family, but was terminated when he was discovered in a compromising position with Elsa. (In his defense, he was merely inventing what would become the hit party game "Twister.") It was then that he heard the call of Vaudeville - which he answered, touring with his one man show "Heidelburg and Me: A Love Story." The show brought the house down nightly. This lead to his eventual injury when a rafter punctured his spleen.

He decided to study acting and become a family entertainer, which is much safer than bringing down houses.

Not long after establishing himself, he met the diminutive Laurie. They fell head over heels in dislike for each other and did the only thing they could do: get married and make each other miserable. Much to their surprise, love actually blossomed and she became his business manager. In Laurie's opinion, the job was perfect - she got to tell Chris where to go on a daily basis. They performed at fairs, festivals, and libraries around the Southeast before eventually settling in their own hovel away from home to raise a Hobbit of their very own.

Chris has now been performing on and off for over 20 years. He's tried his hand at acting, directing, writing, dancing, balloon art, magic, juggling, geek and human blockhead acts - as well as improvisation. He looks forward to a fun run with ETC - as long as there is no actual running involved.
